package files into fewer packages (or even a single one in some cases), like you can do with Sims 3 and Sims 4 packages, since there’s a lot more involved to doing it with TS2, this tool automates it. It allows you to merge a whole folder and its subfolders containing Sims 2. Had this tool laying around, but broken and unfinished, decided to polish it up and post it here. Safest types of mods to merge seem to be hacks and CAS parts. I highly recommend backing up your Neighborhoods folder, keeping your unmerged CC in a safe place and testing your merged objects, stuff can go wrong (Invisible objects is one of the most common reported issues). Update 1.4: Option to write text files with the contents of each merged package. Update 1.4.1: Fixed error caused by progress bar being set higher than 100% Thank you all for testing the tool! 1.3 has some extra logging/error handling features so you’re not left in the dark if anything goes wrong :)
